1. How much of a role does the location of the school playin the MBA experience and post-MBA opportunities? Is that something one shouldconsider seriously i.e. on par with the quality of the program?

Locationis important to your quality of life as an MBA student. 2. Does it matter where you take your supplemental classes?What classes do you recommend?

Gaining the material is more importantthan where or how you take the class. For candidates without a quantitative background, wetypically recommend statistics, accounting, financial math, and econ.

总结：如果申请人觉得自己的quant 学术背景不够，可以通过学习一下统计课，会计课，经济学课来补偿。

3. How much of an impact can not only making official schoolvisits but also creating relationships with current students and faculty withinyour desired concentration (i.e., president of a student organizationassociated with your desired concentration) make when gaining admission tobschool?

An official school visit is important to help you differentiate one program toanother. Stepping foot on campus of a school you have researched can helpconfirm your impressions.
It is not impressive when an applicant is focused on gathering connectionsfor the sake of name dropping in an application, it is the quality of the connections you make.

总结：对于有时间和预算的申请者，如果能到学校和在校老师或者招生官有一次面对面的实质对话那是再好不过了。这可以让招生官对你有所印象，也让你和其他申请者有所不同。想象一下：招生官知道你是千里迢迢来visit, 这个诚心诚意还是挺能令人信服的。

我是很想体现我的诚意啊，可是身在国内而且天天加班......我尝试过给不同学校的招生办官员发邮件，给student ambassor发邮件，给我能找得到的校友发邮件，无一有回音......

确实是从中国到美国去visit 学校和项目确实从经济和时间上来看都很难。发邮件的话可能是被淹没在茫茫的邮件中了。我倒是建议算好时差，给学校打打电话也是可以！
