这题是不是没出好？虽然答案是C，而且我也知道句末的那个ITS 是指代THE ANT，所以必须得用单数，但struggles that limits 不是很奇怪吗，struggles是复数吧怎么能用 THAT LIMITS呢？

这道题是个争议题，我倾向于C选项，而that limits 可以认为是修饰the kind。毕竟总的来说首尾的一致性好像更明显。

我觉得是D，C中it is similar的表述不准确吧~就算it 指代了ant, ant is genetically similar???这样的表达不像是一句话吧？就好比说，你的基因很相似？那你的基因和谁相似？相似总需要有个比较对象吧！我们可以说你们的基因很相似或者你和他的基因很相似，所以个人认为D中答案是正确的~

这里用it来谈论genetically similar，那么it必须是个集体名词。而与之对应的主句主语the ant语义上完全是个体名词，是指某一只蚂蚁。
其次that limit从语义上必须修饰struggles。只有struggles才能limit spread，试问kind怎么可能作为一个核心词去limit 物种的扩张？
所以只有D是正确的。

我的观点；不对我们再谈论哈

1；主从句时，后边的句子不能指代主语的介词短语定语中的名词

2；（尤其主语是单数的时候）确实similar 应该是to 总要有个对像

这道题是PREP的一道题，官方答案是D

that是就近指代struggles吧~~好像that不能指代这么远吧
