Established in 1863; 是历史悠久的具有天主教背景的私立学校

可以说，SMC在加州local的reputation挺不错的。

California Bay Area, 30 minute's drive to San Fransisco; 1.5 hour's drive to Silicon Valley.
地处加州湾区，离旧金山、伯克利很近（半小时车程），离硅谷也不算远。对于打算在加州找工作的同学来说，应该是很有利的优势。

SMC有不同种类的奖学金，现在SMC的商学院也在考虑专门为国际学生提供Research Assistantship，可以在学习之余在校内工作，积攒经验。SMC的老师们都非常给力，对学生关心有加，希望学生可以成功。而且商学院里几乎没有国际学生，是个很好的机会真正融入美国社会，和美国人交流、合作project，学到很多。

由于SMC是北加最早开设Executive MBA的学校之一，所以校友网络是挺强大的。前面说了，在美国找工作，networking是王道，有reference和没reference差别很大。
