标题: 关于manhattan上一个知识点的问题求助~~~
在讲指代时说： The gmat always respects the repeats principle. The repeat principle : Repeated pronouns are presumed to have the same antecedent. That is, every it and its in the sentence must refer to the same singular noun; every they, them and their must refer to the same plural noun. 想问下这句的意思是
1.在一个句子中同时出现they their 他们都指代同一个antecedent
2. 还是说一个句子出现各种的they 指代一个antecedent 同一个句子出现的their 可以指代另一个antecedent

In an effort to reduce their inventories, Italian vintners have cut prices; their wines are priced to sell, and they do. 这个正确的句子中按分析they 指代的应该是their wines 所以应该是解释2？？？

不是they的先行词=their的先行词=them的先行词么……  句子中they their 都指Italian vintners。
我觉得their wines are priced to sell, and they do 这明明是两个个句子啊……为什么是一个句子呢？
And they do 是个什么用法？和so they do 一样么？

问个不相关的问题：He was beaten by gamt, so did I  还是 so was I ?

我觉得应该是1
你可以参考一下OG13-诊断测试 42题，有对they, their的讨论
就像Manhattan中常说的，OG经常有前后不一、自己打自己嘴巴的地方
而且，Manhattan也常说，不到万不得已不看指代模糊，而且错误选项一定不只有指代模糊。
这是我的理解。
