在复习PREP07&08笔记，发现点问题求助各位NN

这道题选C，没有疑问，但是07笔记其中的解释我不太同意，其中补充说明说：不要将with the sole intent to sell误认为是to do表目的，to do 修饰的是V，如果修饰名词应该用A of B结构，with the sole没有动词出现，应该用of selling来修饰名词。to do可以作为adj修饰名词,所以笔记上的解释有问题。个人认为这里to do不可以修饰the sole intent是因为to do 和the sole intent应该是动宾关系，而在这里动宾关系是说不通的，所以错。

答案是C没有问题，但是解释说to do 不需要考虑逻辑主语，我个人怎么觉得大多数情况to do 是需要考虑逻辑主语的。

我觉得笔记和楼主的说法我都不太认同；
首先正如楼主说的我也不认为to do就只能修饰动词。
但是对楼主说的 to do 要动宾我也觉得不全对，当然多数情况下是有动宾关系，但并不全是。在谷歌中随便搜一下“with the intent to"得到 140,000,000这么多结果。所以这道题对错的关键不在to do 或者 of doing
第二题；我和楼主意见比较一致，不知道笔记原谅是怎么写的。它针对的是什么说的

谢谢你的提醒，我也在google搜索了一下，的确有with the intent to 的用法，例如：
Theft with the intent to resell
A person is guilty of theft with the intent to resell if he or she commits theft of property with a value of at least two hundred fifty dollars from a mercantile establishment with the intent to resell the property for monetary or other gain.
这是一条官方法律条文，可见with the intent to 的用法没有错，所以我们只能说笔记上的是错的。

个人意见
第1题，同LS，with the intent to，的确没有错，但这里有sole 形容词修饰 intent 再用to do作定语来修饰 intent显然没有of selling 更好。而且。这道题的最主要的问题并不是这个。

第2题，to do逻辑主语问题应该不是问题，这道题最大的问题就是形式结构，首先，看到这个就应该想到是，just/as.......,so......这种比较结构了。其次，这种结构前后都应该接完整句子，这样就得到了正确选项C。

我对这两道题都没有疑问，而是对笔记里面的注释有疑问，觉得后面的解释有问题。

这些注释也是人来写的，不是标准，有疑问正常，连OG的注释都会有疑问。

Ron大神对#69我的疑问的回答：
"intent of VERBing" is clearly a correct form -- we can be 100% sure of that, since it appears in the correct answer -- but i'm not sure about "intent to sell", since there are other criteria on which choice (c) can be eliminated. since there are several idioms that are correct in more than one form, i would not jump to the conclusion that this alternate form is incorrect.
