首先，可以认为C中的its cargo of its cargo of 是打错了，ETS应该不会用这种表达来折磨我们。我的问题是，如果C是答案，句子结构是：a barge ran around……, and its cargo leaked……，polluting……。为什么，its cargo 后的leak不用被动，我觉得应该是its cargo was leaked吧 cargo能主动就leak了么？

查了查字典，发现这两个例句，楼主可以参考一下：
helium leaking slowly from the balloon.
氦气慢慢地从气球中漏走。
The news has leaked.
消息已泄漏了。
