羞愧，题没有读太懂。什么叫FORAGER Society，然后答案A为什么是割断因果联系呢

其实不用弄懂什么是“FORAGER Society”，只要知道它是一种社会群体，古代有现在也有。（大概意思是采集社会，就是出去找吃的而不是自己种庄稼养养牲畜）
A不是割断，而是建立联系。
首先要先找到问题问的是什么，问题有三折。Which of the following, if true, would mostweaken the criticism made above of the anthropologists’ strategy?
1.人类学家的政策；2，有人批判这种政策 3.要找到削弱批判的选项，即支持人类学家的策略（通过研究古代来学习现代，所以要找古代和现代的关系）
A。将古代社会群体和现代群体连接起来，肯定了人类学家的策略

再请教一个问题呀^O^我对这道题的分析是这样的:这道题的因是，forage society是varied，并且他与一些non–forage society是有很大关系的。所以，人类学家不能用研究现代的了解古代的。那么，weaken这个反驳意见的选项，a.的作用是，反向割断因果。但是选项，d为什么不行呢？

means it is unuseful to study the morden-day forager societies, cause they cannot draw any inferences.
