标题: prep模考上的一道题真心不懂
如题:

according to public health officials, in 1998 massachusetts became the first state in which more babies were born to women over the age of thirty than under it

a than

b than born

我觉得more是放在babies 前面所以than的比较是baby 和baby 的比较，就选了b.

a是生孩子的妇女年龄的比较。应该省略一串东西，想请问怎么补会这串东西好让句子更好理解？

主谓前后都一样的话，可以省略后面的那个主谓部分，只留下谓语不伦不类的。而且谓语也是were born。
