ARGUS Software's 2013 University Challenge - Business Case Competition Results.

The following teams won the 2013 ARGUS Software University Challenge:

1st Place $8000: York University

2nd Place $3500: University of San Diego

3rd Place $2000: Florida International University

Honorable Mention $1000: New York University Stern School of Business

Honorable Mention $1000: Covenant University

ARGUS Software's 2013 University Challenge gives students the unique opportunity to participate in a powerful and compelling competition that enhances knowledge of ARGUS Solutions. Universities and students both benefit from the valuable experience gained from working with seasoned real estate professionals.
The Challenge: Urban Regeneration | The Springfield Monorail Redevelopment. One team from each participating university must complete a case study entitled Urban Regeneration: The Springfield Monorail Redevelopment. The case study was created by Sara J Wilkinson. Each team must prepare an ARGUS model based on this case study and submit a paper explaining the results of the analysis by Friday, March 22, 2013. 21 universities are participating in this challenge from 6 countries around the world covering 4 continents. Man, there are dozens of different real estate case competitions in the US every year: the ULI one, the MIT one, the NYU one etc etc etc. You got to run a 10-year summary of all major competitions to get a sense of actual ranking not just throwing result of one competition for one year.
But anyway this is helpful.
