昨天接到电话，非常高兴。Darden录取委员会的效率太高，12月1号的申请Deadline，昨天就出结果了。
希望和大家分享这份喜悦，祝愿后面的Offer象雪片一样在CD上出现。
申请终于可以告一段落，从6月份考T，9月份考G，到现在申请有半年多了。整个申请过程CD一直是我最大的信息来源， 在这里衷心谢谢所有的CDer--所有让CD兴旺的人， 谢谢。还记得第一次看到CD上的看到Gmat牛牛的心得，收到南瓜MM寄来的suggestion信，看到CD大使们整理的申请访谈录，听到CD举办的workshop，通过CD聚会认识申请战友，我肯定如果没有CD的这一切，不会有今天的喜悦。谢谢。
以下是一些个人观点，希望对正在申请中的兄弟姐妹们有帮助：
1、申请团队方式好，在此感谢多伦多追梦团的所有成员（只有两个，哈哈），一起讨论帮助太大了。
2、GMAT是必要条件，但不充分。属于过了线就可以，不必太执着。
3、Essay是关键，内容是重点，故事是精华，文笔不要太在意。
4、Interview要自信，面对面的方式是上策，直接的交流可以弥补语言上的问题。
5、申请需要全身心投入。
上面这些称不上是经验，属于个人体会，希望对大家有参考价值。

我认为第三轮申请应该不算晚，主要和个人的背景有关系。 我相信录取应该是在各种背景的人之间有一定比例。
建议在申请的时候不要考虑这些无法确定的因素，准备好资料是最实际的。

我是去学校做Campus visit的同时做面试的，当时感觉不错，所以我认为面对面的interview 比较有效。

Darden的确是满快的。我也是round 2。很快就收到interview invitation了，因为在上海，没法校园面试。但是因为现在一直很忙，而且也很紧张面试，所以约在1月份面试了。

Darden的面试一直被认为是最kind and relax的，没有tough的问题。我当时是Commit 面试的，的确很nice. 大约40岁的woman，上来先把所有她将要问的问题说了一遍，并告诉我不要紧张，只是谈话就可以。问题包括：介绍你自己（和essay 的life story），Why MBA, Long short term goal, Why Darden, Achievement, Leadership, Teamwork，都是经典问题，没有任何特殊的。
尽量放松，既然拿到interview邀请说明你的硬件指标已经没有问题了，准备好面试，就等你的好消息了，Haha。

almost 700 words. However, I strongly recommend that you can make your essay in 500 words. It is kind of respect to the Ad which I got to know after I submitted my application.

p.s. I feel Essay 3 sounds a little bit tricky. The essay doesn't directly ask us what other schools we applied. But to answer this essay, we may have to do so to make the comparison, right? Have you mentioned the name of other schools to which you applied?

I didn't mention any other schools. The truth is that I only applied one school. Moreover, I believe that you should not focus on comparison, but describe Darden's unique characteristic.
For me, Darden's strong GM reputation, its friendly culture and its full case method are the reason why I am intresting in Darden.
Have you applied for either student loan or scholarship offered by Darden?
Darden provides international students with scholarship.
No. We cannot apply by ourself. The Ad will decide scholarship after receieved all students' confirmation. It's about April. Darden will provide no co-signer loan to every student who fills the application in request-I20 form.
