标题: OG几个有疑惑的语法点！

问：PREP中的，正确A，我错选了B，想不通……
2. Due to可以放句首吗？

OG的解释说选A不对是因为原句要表达的是一种contrast，而非动词的extension，所以不该用分词作伴随状语——这一点我明白了。但我想问的是：but可以加-ing做伴随状语的吗？but和although不是应该加完整的句子的吗？？

问：选E为什么不对？OG解释说：Subordinate clause beginning with which is
awkward andambiguous.但还是不大明白啊……

问：这题我选了B，解释说creates的单复数与reactions不一致，我就纳闷了：定语从句that不应该紧跟先行词，也就是说that不是应该修饰的是an individual吗，怎么这里成修饰reactions了？？

我试着回答下
1，这里前后比较的是介词短语'，而不是主语，所以不需要补出谓语
2， due to means caused by,不能位于句首
3，but既可以做连词也可以做介词，做连词当然连接完整句子没错。做介词可接名次，介词短语，代词风，我觉得接ving有问题，一般伴随状语都是comma+ving的形式，之间没有其他词语
4.which就近修饰vision，vision cannot beblind，a person can be blind.
5.句子的逻辑意思是，测谎仪的使用是基于这样的假设，即一个人说谎时会产生情绪反应，而这种反应会反过来产生无意识的生理反应。所以creat要和reactions数上保持一致。

我也来补充一下，
3) but supplementing 可以认为but是副词，但原句的意思要对比而不是用supplementing来伴随。
5) that不可以指代individual ，最近可以指代的词就是reactions
