Nowadays, neighbors depend on each other less than the people in the past.

I used to live in a single-story house with mygrandparents, and I had an intimate partner when I was small. We hung outeveryday in the past. However, after moving into the mansion, we lost contact. SoI can not agree with this statement any more, neighbors depend on each othertruly less than the past. I think there are three main reasons account for thisconsequence.

To begin with, people in twenty first century tend toaccomplish issues by themselves compared with depending on neighbors. In thepast, many things are needed to ask for the help from neighbors, such asrepairing small pieces of furniture, taking a babysittingin working hours, moving heavy stuff from home to truck etc. Nevertheless, withthe popularity of professional service agency, more and more people prefer tocall a private business companies to help them with these problems with a smallsum of money. People believe the professional agency can provide high qualityservice rather than the help from neighbors. People would send broken furnitureto repairing shop, send their baby to kindergarten, call a moving company tomove the heavy stuff. As a result, the help from neighbors is not necessary forpeople nowadays. Therefore, they reluctant to contact with neighbors, cause thedecrease of depending on each other.

What’s more, people in recent years are more likely tochange jobs and living locations. Owning to the mobility of this society,people would not contact with neighbors, because the neighbors are changing sofrequently. In the past, people would live in an location for severalgenerations especially in small town. They used to familiar with all the peoplein town not mansion the neighbors. The neighbors’ kids were grown up togetherand became close friends as well as their parents. But nowadays, because of jobjumping, people may change their house every three or five years, and mostpeople prefer to rent a house rather than purchasing one. The fluctuating ofthe popularity make people today contact much more less compared with past, sothey would not like to depend on neighbors. How would I depend on a person whomight be move to somewhere tomorrow?

Finally, the widely use of the internet is one of thereason for this phenomenon. Recent years, nearly everyone is able to connect tothe internet conveniently. So people like to communicate and finish some workon the internet. As we all know, facebook give you chance to meet new friends,youtube provide you a great deal of newest video, many official news media alsoopen websites on the net. The consequence is that people would stay in home allday instead of going out and chatting with neighbors. Lacking of communicationcause the unknown with neighbors each other, obviously, they would not dependon each other. In the past, neighbors may take a free ride to supermarket, but peoplecan buy all the things online. Now this chance of communicate with neighborsdisappeared.

Ina word, the development of society brings many benefits, professional serviceagencies, more opportunities for work and convenient life based on internet. Atthe meantime, it makes the distance between neighbors much further. So theneighbors depend on each other less than people in the past.

楼主逻辑思路没有问题的啊，语法也差不多都对，可是我读起来总觉得不太顺，而且很多地方重复很多比如一堆each other。。。有可以不用的地方就不要用了啊，或者是用同义词替换比如说mutually啊这些，这个问题楼主注意一下同义词替换，句子写得太长，有些意思一样的如果合成一句说的话会更精练。说的可能有不对的地方，楼主多担待啊~

It is better to relax by watching a movie or reading a book than doing physical exercise.

People need to relax themselves in this stressed world. However, different people have different ways to ease themselves. Some people tend to read novels or watch movies while others may choice physical exercise. But for me, I prefer the latter one. And I will present my point in the passage.
First of all, people in the present time need physical exercise severely compared with reading books or watching movies. There is no deny that the advantages of prevalent computer have bring much convenience to our life. Many works can be finished by a click rather than go to do it personally. However, a research from science journey has showed that the dead rate of white collars in cities have raised 2 percentage compared with last year. As we can conclude that our body condition have dropped due to the less move nowadays. So People should try to do some exercise if they have spare time. Firstly, doing exercise will give you a good body without the worry about heart disease, high blood pressure or such illnesses. Secondly, doing exercise will give you a slim body without mocking from dressing salesgirl and ashamed from boyfriend. Besides, after exercise, you can feel more powerful and lively, you can handle the issues on work better with good body condition.
What’s more, physical exercise can free our brain. In the office, we need to face with the data, files, contracts, so many material needed to deal with. How can I keep using my mind to think about the story in the books or movies? My brain must will overloaded and stopped one day. So I enjoy doing physical exercise to relax myself. I only need to pay attention to my step in running, I just need to avoid crush with the people head-on toward me in swimming and I even do nothing with my brain in yoga. As far as I am concern, this is the true relaxation. I think giving brain a chance to breath, to free, to relax, it can figure the works better in office.
Finally, doing physical exercise can provide you a good mood. I usually regard me as the leading role when I read a romantic novel. So if the love story is tough or sad, I would have the same mood. However, I think it cannot be called “relax” with a bad mood after relaxation. But, doing physic exercise can give you a good mood. It is magical that I have good mood and high spirit everytime after exercising with great sweating. And I have had a research among my classmates about the spirit condition after exercising, however, forty five people in fifty feel that they are happier than before, a sense of getting rid of the burden in daily lives.
Admittedly, reading novels and watching movies would lead you into a virtual world, a world without the troubles and barriers in real world. It’s a good relaxation. However, based on the virtues I state above, I think physical exercise is a better way to relax oneself.

This is a time of fast. Finishing work orbusiness in a fast speed, eating a fast food for lunch, enjoying a fast show isnot strange for modern people. Fast lifestyle gives great stress to people.A survy posted recently has showed that 35% of people choose to suicide because of stressed out. So we can conclude that a proporate way of relaxing is indispencable for people in this century. Watching a hitted movie or reading an interested book is a good way to release yourself. For the same reason, doing exercise can achieve the same effect. But for me, I prefer to do sports to relax.
Admittedly, watching a movie or reading a book can push you out of daliy affairs which trouble you like office works, colleague relationships, poor earned and huge spend,and which are the sourses of your stress. You can imagine you are the hero in the movie who can save the world, or the princess in the book who is fall in love with a handsome boy while paying all attention to a movie or a book. In a word, reading books or watching movies will bring you to a virtual world far away from stress and acquiring peace in your heart. However, I prefer to relax both spirit and body. So in my point of view, doing physical exercise is a better way for me to relax myself.
The first and the most important reason is that modern people have spend too much time sitting and lying. People working in the office spend eight hours sitting in front of tabel and watching computers. And filled of tired, they prefer to lying on the sofa while back home. I don't think spend more time on sitting or lying with reading books or watching movie can relax one's body. So it is nesessary to choose another style for body or spirit to change a mode so that people can get free from stress. For example, running for miles with sweating will make you feel refresh like wakeing up from a long night sweat sleep. So doing exercise is better to relax from stress.
What's more, people spend too much time with thinking. People need to consider mutipule things on working or studying. For me, it is hard to receive any more things which needed to think. I won't use my spare time to consider the story line in the movie or the ending in the book. As far as I am concerned, the best way to relax is set brain free. Therefore, physical exercise is better to release. You just need to walk or run step by step on the running mechine without thinking. Besides, you can strench your body to the most in yoga and clear your brain. These physical sports can leave you free from stress.
It is various for people to choose a suitable way to relax themselves from heavy work or study and hard to distinguish which is better. But for me, doing physical exercise can give me relive from stress compared with reading books or watching movies.

It cannot be deny that students in this eraare more creative compared with last generations. Some of thestudents in engineering school may start their businesses in collage, others majorin mathematics may begin to white novels in their spear time. In my point ofview, thanks to the clubs and interests groups, they could enjoy suchmeaningful lives. So I agree with the topic, students get benefit from studentorganization or club activities as much as their academic studies.

First of all, as we all know, academic studyis not the one and the only thing in our lives. So many skills are required injob market or office working, such as effective communication, appropriate wayof talking with people, courage of speaking in public. Compared with learningfrom books, practicing these skills in club activities may have better effect. Differentclubs or student groups have their unique targets to help with enhancing suchabilities. For example, there is an English oral speaking club in myuniversity, they tend to improve members’ speaking skills by settingsituational dialogues, so that they can practice oral English that fit in differentoccasions. Sometime the club will invite English native speakers to join theiractivities. Therefore, joining clubs can acquire skills which hard to learnfrom books.

What’s more, attending clubs or studentorganizations can expand your network circle. More important is that networkcircle play a crucial role in working space or social communications. Morefriends you have, more way to conveniently deal with affairs. There is no denythat one of the mean reason for senior executives to join MBA classes ismeeting more people in same level. And the clubs and students organizationsprovide such a platform for students to meet more gays in school. It seemsdifficult to meet friends majored in another subject. However, joining clubscan. Finally, I think take part in such activitieswill develop new interests and hobbies. The first reason is that you can getrelax through joining activities you interested in from heavy academic work.Riding bike with bicycle team to countryside may make you lighthearted, thenrecharge full energy to have academic research. We cannotignore the significant of idea or inspiration, however, completed preparationand work is the core of a program, so as for presentation. Therefore, in myopinion, people should prepare for the presentation once it is assigned beforepresenting.

Admittedly, the shine point of apresentation is fabulous idea. With creative idea or inspiration, it is easy toappeal listeners to your presentation. One of my roommates is a cool student,she used to delay the presentation assigned by teachers for a long time, andbegan to do the related work one week before deadline, we sometimes worriedwhether she could finish in time. However, once she started, she always wentstep by step without hesitation or mistake, and finished in time with greatscore. She really surprised us, but she just a person who can deal good withtime and make detailed plan in mind before setting about her task. It cannot bedenied, few people can be like her. Idea is the soul of a presentation, but weneed time to achieve idea.

First of all, huge amount ofmaterials are needed to collect in order to understand the presentation.However, huge amount of time are needed as well. Faced with a totally newtopic, take me as an example, I would collect all the information related tothe topic, then read all of them to find the best angle to present the topic.If I begin to prepare in early time, I have plenty of time to undergo thisprocess. Admittedly, art museums and music performance center are able to cultivate people with sense of art and feeling of music. Thus, the spirit of citizen can be enriched and satisfied through participating art or music related activities. People who prefer to visit art museum usually have better taste about aesthetic. Similarly, people who enjoy music play are more graceful and elegant. However, the truce is that there are not so much people who are interested in ancient culture and classical music. Therefore, building art museums or music performance center cannot benefit too much citizens. These sites seems little private compared with recreation devices.
First of all, building recreation devices can benefit more people. Recreation devices, such as playground or garden, mostly build in areas near to communities. Thus, people can take fully use of these devices conveniently. Children could play basketball with classmates in Saturday morning, adults may prefer to have a walk after dinner in garden, olds can take morning exercise in playground. What’s more, these recreation sites give families a chance to get together and play games in leisure time. As known to all, a rapid growth of city deprives lands which should be lawn or garden. People have to stay at home faced with computers. Good is many recreation devices appeal people to get together and paly outside again. So building recreation device is more important to art related buildings.
Besides, recreation devices can help people with fit keeping and body building. If you visit art museums, you just need to take few steps, and you barely sit for hours when watch music performance. Speedy life make many people are in sub-health. Therefore, taking more activities is better off. Swimming in the swimming pool can reduce fat, running in playground can strengthen heart, play basketball or soccer can improve body integrate health condition. Only have a good body can one enjoy a happy life. Thus, recreation devices are more needed by citizens compared with art museum or music center.

  The boosting of technology brings us many feasible facilities, such as computer, television, smart phone. With the capacity of multi-function, it is hard to tell the purpose of using one device. White collars can use computer to finish office related jobs as well as playing network games for children. It is the same reason for television. Sometimes we want to entertain ourselves, other moment we may prefer to acquire knowledge. Therefore, in my opinion, the purpose of television should be various for different range of people.
  First of all, as a most common electronic product, television is prevalent in nearly every family. In the family which the owner is old people, the main purpose of television is entertaining, since there is no necessity for elders to learn any novel thing. People in an old age who are already retired from work, the core life is enjoying the rest of life with families. Because of easily operate and multiple choices of channels, television is most popular for elders. They enjoy comedy movies and classic music showing on the television with a cup of coffee and a case of cookies, this is all the elders would do with television. Thus, for old people, the purpose of television is entertaining.
  However, for adults who work in office or factories, the meaning of television is not just an entertainment. As known to all, white collars have to work eight hours a day, they have limited time to be contributed to other use for one’s own sake. What if a person wants to enhance his or her ability by attending class with such few time? The television teaching is a good choice. After buying an educative channel, you can learn many new things to recharge yourself in Sunday afternoon in your home, without the tiredness and time spending on the way to attending class. Of course, entertainment is inevitable. If the Sunday is the studying day, well, the week days after work is relaxing day by watching television. With so many channels to choose, it is hard for you to find no attractive problems. So, the purpose of television for working people is both educative and entertaining.
However, student who is in the critical time of exam or quiz should use every second to study, including watching television. Take me as an instance. When I was in high school, there was a big television in our classroom. However, it is a pity that we were not allowed to open the tv, only the teachers have the right. The teacher would use the TV as assistant facility of teaching, showing us powerpoint and some small videos related to course. The reading passage suggests three possibal ways to control the population of cane toad. However, the professor in the listening material disagrees with them. She think they are not eco-friendly.
Firstly, the reading passage proposes to build a national fence, they have use the fence to prevent the rabbits. But professor asserts that the eggs of toads are flow with the stream, the fence can not stop the water from side to side. The young toad and eggs are able to be carried with water to some place without fence.
Secondly, the reading material claims that toad can be captured and destroyed easily by volunteers. However, professor in the listening passage think this will cause severe trouble because that the untrained volunteers may not able to distinguish toads with native frogs. If they capture and destroy the native frogs would be harm to local environment.
Thirdly, the reading passage says that a disease-causing virus can be used to control the population of cane toads. Professor believes it cannot be adopted. In the Australia the toads may be controlled. However, the toad is a native animal of American. For the toads can transported to areas, the infected toads may carry the virus to American. And this would have significant influence on American eco-system.
In conclusion, according to the professor in the listening passage,all the three way in the reading are not acceptable to be used to control the population of toads

Agree/disagree: teachers should assign homework for student everyday
It is known to all the teachers that assigning homework is a fundamental way to solidify the fresh things learned at class. However, the amount of homework is debatable. Someone believes that assigning homework to student every day is necessary, other people may hold opposite opinion. However, I believe the frequency of assigning homework is depended on different situations.
First of all, assigning homework every day is crucial for students who are in middle school or high school. Students are required to select many classes such as history, physical, chemical, not to mention the basic math. Thus, as most of the teachers’ method, assigning homework can force students to be familiar and absorb the knowledge by repeating the content of class in homework. As one old saying, practice makes perfect. What’s more, teenager children are old enough to handle with the homework required every day. Through studying at elementary school, they know how to allocate time for studying and entertaining. Also they can separate time into pieces for different circumstance. Thus, for students in middle school and high school, they are needed and able to finish homework every day.
  However, for children who are in elementary school, homework shouldn’t be their burden every day. Young children, with the instinct of playing and exploring outside, are not willing to finish homework every day. In addition, locked at home and faced with homework is not a good way to cultivate a talent child. Teachers who are conducting this period of children should give them more time to investicate the outside by themselves, not using the heavy homework to tell them the world described in books. Admittedly, homework is part of the school life, children should finish some homework, but in a light amount. In shorts, every day’s home work is not suitable for elementary student to grow up, they need more time to discovery by themselves.
  What’s more, there is no necessity for collage student to be assigned homework every day. The study method in the collage is different from high school. The class they majored is more specific, thus, student need more time to consider the content in the class by themselves. Assigning homework every day is not efficient for collage student to enhance and solidify their study. In collage, student usually practice one circumstance by researching relevant books, searching papers writen by professors in the similar topic and simulating the formulation and experiment in the computer or lab. The reading passage states many problem and limitations of them, however, professor in the listening material claims that the new rules has changed the whole field of archeology.
Firstly, the reading passage thinks that some valuable art constructions were lost to construction project. But after the new rules, says by professor in the lecture, the construction has to be exam by expert archeologists to test the value of it. The construction of new building cannot be processed before the government and specialists make plan or document to protect old buildings.
Secondly, in the reading passage, the financial support for archeological research was not enough. However, the new rules, repeats by the professor, will regulate the construction fee are paid by construction company not government. This rule brings a new source of financial support and this support is powerful and reliable.
Finally, in the past, people majored in archeology were hard to have a career in archeology, stated in the reading passage. Things changed after the new rules. Accordingly, I agree with the topic, I believe the ability to plan and to organize is an important feature for young man. And I will illustrate my reasons in the following passage.
First of all, the ability to plan and organize is required in this society. Following with the digit time, work and life in all fields have changed dramatically. People in nowadays tend to handle with jobs one by one in a comparably shorter period of time, and thus force people to plan all the assignment before starting. For young man, who may not have been experienced much in society, it is better to foster the ability to manage time efficiently and to plan and organize work properly. Mastering this ability can make them suit the high seed and pressure in future job field better and gain more achievement.
Secondly, having the ability to plan and organize will give young man a meaningful life. As we all know, we just have 24 hours a day with the fixed amount of work. 不知道你GMAT的阅读能力怎么样，总之要想高分一定要持续练阅读。材料的话经典的那些材料量已经够大了，建议OG 做两遍，注意分析，然后就是新旧PREP，数学陈向东的不错，其他的暂时没想起来，加油哈。材料不在多，gmat真的是要分析总结啊

The reading passage is talking about a new tactic used by companies to appeal consumers, buzz. The speaker in the lecture speaks the same topic. However, the speaker disagree with the opinions in the reading materials, and provides his evidences.
Firstly, the reading passage states that the consumers should have known whether the person who promoted the product is hired, which might be misleading for consumers. The speaker in the lecture says he is a buzzer, he used the product and think it is good, so the company hired him to praise their product, but all his talking is true feeling about the product.
What’s more, contradicting to the reading passage that the consumer might be less critical to buzzers, the speaker claims that the consumer are paying more attention and asking a lot of questions. Such as the prize, the service and how long the speaker has used. If he cannot answer the question, consumers won’t buy the product.
Finally, the speaker in the lecture thinks that the buzzing would destroy the social relationship which is pointed out in the reading material is not true. The speaker asserts that only good companies are able to hire buzzers. Buzzers feel good about the product would tell the truce to consumers. Then the consumer experiencing the fantastic of the product, they would feel more trustful to people.
In conclusion, the speaker in the lecture disapproves the ideas in the reading passage, he believes that buzzing is good to consumers that it should not be banned.

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Movies and televisions
should always show audience good people are being rewarded and bad people are
being punished
In the present day and age, watching movies or televisions has become one dominate way for people to consume spare time. With more and more people enjoy watch them, they seem to have a responsibility to present right aspect of value and social moral. Thus, as a long last social rule that good people are being rewarded and bad people are being punished is needed to show in the media obviously. So I agree with the topic that movies and televisions should always shoe audience good people are being rewarded and bad people are being punished.
Admittedly, not all the movies or television behave as required. For example, many outstanding tragic opera like Shakespares’ which are not obey this rules that good people are being rewarded and bad people are being punished. The reason why tragedy can attract audiences might because the ending that is not going as audiences’ wishes. Sometimes good people experience poor circumstance and bad people win money and beauty. However, this kind of movies and television are still needed by market and society.
But the tragic movies and televisions are small part in whole moving and television market.
Firstly, the presenting of good people are being rewarded and bad people are punished can foster children with right social moral. It is not uncommon that kids start watching movies or televisions in small age. They are tending to learn everything they witness. If they see the televisions that good people are being rewarded, they will learn to do good things, to gain rewards; when they see that the bad people are being punished, they will avoid such bad behaviors. Therefore, they will cultivate a moral system by themselves through watching movies and television. And this system would have significant influence on their life.
What’s more, this scene, good people are being rewarded and bad people are punished, is most expected by audiences. As we all know that life is not going on what you wish. In real world, owning to some reasons, that scene may not happened frequently. Some good man would complain about such an unequal life they have. As consequently, people with bad people like the bullies in society are punished and good people like themselves are being rewarded. In order to cater this need, movie or television company will make such videos to earn more audiences. Therefore, the rule that good people are being rewarded and bad people are punished is required by people to show in movie and televisions.
In conclusion, the basic social rule that good people are being rewarded and bad people are punished should be presenting in the most movies and televisions.

题目：To solve the present and future problems, it is necessary to understand the past.
Philosophically, everything in the world has a close contact with anything else everywhere. The author's statement about the past background and history's role in addressing present and future problems tends to be a definite position. Well, the claim is reasonable when it comes to such incidents, for example, especially the political ones, that have close and inseparable relationship with the past history. However, it fails to consider that not all the issues can not get rid of the past. Basically, lots of diverse new things show up everyday at present, in future years as well. Also, the past owned different condition and situation with current society.  Therefore, the statement is circumscribed.
   To start with, the first reason why I oppose the author's opinion is the global background-like the information explosion era, advanced technology and improvement of international cooperation, etc. In fact, in this day and age, numerous problems, resulted from the advancement of technology and increase of intense strain among many other countries and scarcity of awareness on global culture, could be eliminated by collaboration of different states. If you take a close look at my point, you could see that not only do the problems not exist before but also the past do not share the same universal situation. Thus, nothing could be learned from the past about such confusion.
   Second, another reason we should take into consideration is the societal environment. Without doubt, all what we can name about the widespread phenomenon is the booming population, the deterioration of environment, the decrease of natural resources and the less face to face communication among people and so on. Definitely these objective factors are nothing but vital elements that could give rise to problems. Based on this changeable occasion do you think we humankind could still follow the measure adopted before to solve the problem?  The answer entirely do not need deep analysis. Concrete methods are supposed to be carried out accordingly. Take the environment and tourism in china for example, in order to develop its economy in the past, the government strongly encouraged the tourism, which consumed lots of natural resources and brought serious pollution to environment. Whereas, nowadays china has to adopt other means, instead of the previous means, to stir economic development in light of the limited resources and alleviation of environmental contamination. This case illustrates there is no use understanding unpractical old times for that the societal situation has changed.
   Granted, to better scrutinize and solve the present and future problems, it sometimes really need people to dig the past background and keep track on them like some long-term issues. The matters usually develop step by step, day by day as well and call for a standing management. Here the well-known example comes to my mind-that is global warming. This is a long-range problem caused by large amounts of fuel burning, increase of car exhaust, and the booming population. It is a durable process in demand of lasting control. Apparently, the comparison between the historical document and the current data can bring us more meaningful enlightenment and guidance. Finally, we can deal with problems more completely.
To sum up, the specific questions need different analysis. It is unwise for us to make a sweeping generalization that the past has to be understood in order to solve future and current problems. Of course, we could draw on the experience from the past. But blindly adherence indicates nothing but stupid. Only on the basis of societal background and global strategy can we come up with the proper method and conquer the obstacles.

People who develop many different skills are more successful than people who focus on one skill only.
First of all, different people have different definition of success. Some people value obtaining great deal of money and big houses as success, others may think that one need to achieve to peak of one’s career which can be said to be success. However, I disagree with both the ideas above. In my perspective, I believe success means you live a life you want, a feeling of satisfactory from deep in one’s heart, not limited to material life. And I believe, moat people enjoy a colorful life, which means one person who masters different skills is more easily to feel satisfactory. And I think this kind of people is considered to be successful.
Admittedly, some successful people are known with their specialize career, such as scientist, dancer, and painter. They devoted all their life to the career they affected with, in other words, they focus on only one skill. An oil painting drawer may be able to paint oil painting fabulous, but cannot handle portrait. It is the same with scientists. They learned one particular subject from bachelor to doctor, and keep investigating the mystory of that subject in career work. It is obvious that a scientist majored in astronomer doesn’t know things about biology. However, their focus in only one filed make them success.
But for most normal people, they cannot reach such a high level in one’s career. The majority of the crowd are living a life depended on repeating regulated work, such as workers in the cloth factory and office ladies. They will easily feel tired with daily work, and master other things no related to work will satisficted them Therefore, for most people, focus on more skills may create more success. Firstly, mastering other skills will improve their life quality. It is not uncommon that people would choose to watch TV or play computer after work, which is totally a waste of time as I believed. If people have other skills, they can use them to cut time. For example, people who are good at dancing can join a dance club after work. Not only can the person spend spare time more meaningful, but also improve one’s health. So, more skills one person handeled, more enjoy one had, and more successful one gained.
What’s more, mastering more skills will improve your career. As it is known to all, the multiple people are most popular in this society. If an office worker can speak one foreign language apart from his daily work, he or she will be more possible to be improved, which permitted people to pursue higher destination to achieve success in one’s career.
In conclusion, more skills will bring more satisfaction and possibility to one person. And as far as I concerned, this two factors contribute to the successful life.
