the scores must havecheated，成绩不能当作弊的主语，成绩发不出作弊的动作，而成绩是被作弊的，你也得用个been啊。
that引导的是从句，你这写法也不标准，且没交代清谁作弊。
主动优于被动。
且原文的意思是某些人肯定作弊了，你的该法是成绩都作弊了，意思都变了。

LZ的改法在语法和逻辑上都错了。首先，这里scores 不能加 the, 其次，LS说的，scores 不能用 cheat，意思不对。
