这道题是我自己的分析，但是有一点请教NN们，有木有make it sth that的用法啊？

On account of a law passed in 1933, making it a crimepunishable by imprisonment that a United Statescitizen hold gold in the form of bullion or coins, immigrants foundthat on arrival in the United States they had to surrender all of the goldthey had brought with them.

A.On account of a law passed in 1933, making it a crime punishable byimprisonment that a United States citizen hold(主谓不一致，同时making有修饰后面immigrants的嫌疑)

B.With a law passed in 1933 that makes it a crime punishable by imprisonment thata United States citizen hold(主谓不一致)

C.A law passed in 1933 that made it a crime [punishableby imprisonment for a United States citizen holding] it真的无指代

D.Because of a law passed in 1933 making it a crime[ punishable by imprisonment for a UnitedStates citizen ]to hold

E.Due to a law being passed in 1933 that makes it a crime punishable byimprisonment for a United States citizen to hold. (看见being就是错！)

分析下D, make it a crime….to do sth,其中这it指代后面的to do

A，B中出现了make it a crime….that，不知道有木有这样子的用法？

make it...that是错误的，that后面的名词形成分很冗余
正确的搭配是make it adj/n (for sb) to do
eg: Because of a law passed in 1933 making it a crime punishable by imprisonment for a United States critizen to hold gold in the form of bullion or coins, immigrants found that on arrrival in the United states they had to surrender all of the gold they had brought with them
再举一个反例PREP234
the industrial Revolution, which made it possible that manufactured goods were mass-producted, was marked by their using new machines, new energy sources, and new basic materials.
这个句子就是错的。

我觉得你的分析有问题。
B选项With的出现，说明immigrants和law是同时的，逻辑有问题。
C选项a law在句首，说明immigrants本身就是a law,逻辑错误。
E选项也不是说being出现就一定错。而是因为这里being passed,说明“因为一部法律被通过”，而原来的意思是“因为一部被通过的法律”，这两者还是有区别的。OG中有题，采用being就是正确的。
