我理解, 其结论是: 犯罪者被逮捕和定罪的几率较低( ARRESTED, CONVICTED)
D说的是SENTENCE的事情,这是ARREST和CONVICT之后的事情了
比如说,现在美国沸沸扬扬的SCOTT PERTERSON的案子,他被逮捕了,也被定罪了,即两项指控谋杀都成立, 但是还没有SENTENCE, 现在电视上整天都是关于"LIFE OR DEATH"的报道,还不知道他是死还是活
