UK-based investment bank is looking for senior Java developer. The job is
based in China, but paid in US standard. Following is the job description:
Job Description
This role will offer the candidate an excellent opportunity to further
develop their career in financial markets, building and enhancing
applications for the Equity Derivatives business as part of the solutions
delivery team in China
Key Roles & Responsibilities
• Interface and coordinate with FO and MBO business users and IT
teams on global levels
• Analyze and develop solutions according to Equity Derivatives FO
business needs
• Lead application design and coding and coach junior developers
• Continually enhance the delivery of services to the Equity
Derivatives businesses through the ongoing analysis of the business
requirements as related to technology
Key Requirements
• Experience as a software engineer in Financial Markets or related
industry
• Process driven and disciplined approach with expectation of
leveraging and enhancing the existing Bank defined governance structures.
• Ability to development and mentor junior members of the team in
software engineering practices
• Ability to communicate with offshore business and development
teams
