我想，如果A选项是正确的，我能不能把原句子写成: Digged in sediments in northern China, evidence has been gathered by scientists suggesting that complex life-forms emerged much earlier than they had previously thought.

个人觉得不可以，如果你要改成这样的话，你那个suggesting是修饰谁？按照原句的意思，应该是修饰evidence，而你改成这个样子，suggesting也可能修饰scientists，这样的话，是否会产生歧义或者ambigious
