So the choice B is best.

by the way,1stzhang, i suggest you that when dealing the assumption questions you'd better focus on the evidence without which the tenability of the conclusion will be undermined,that is, seek the essential condition required by the conclusion.At least it seems to me, it is a quicker way to find the answer.

economic forces是中间细节原因, 是为什么they air only those shows that will appeal to large numbers of people的原因.

so you can not use it as assumption of "political opinions and analyses aired on television talk shows are typically bland and innocuous. "

不懂为什么不选C
C的否命题：每个人除了mainstream的观点之外所存在的那些政治观点都一样，比如虽然mainstream是A党，但是大家同时都很关注B党，那么电视台就也应该Air B党的信息因为同样能吸引大多数观众。
