之前看到了一些旧的解释，都没有提到这个点，所以干脆再开个贴问下

答案选B
可是
whose不是只能指代人吗，怎么又指代物（fish）了呢？

从这个题来看，只能用whose，
但是我记得有一条规则是说，that只能指物，who/whose 只能指人，
所以看到whose指fish就觉得困惑，为什么不用 of which 啥的。

既然题中出现了，我也只能接受，但是还是想知道为什么，
whose 可以指物了吗？求确认

同意楼上，我记得OG中还有一题whose是指代tribes的，所以楼主这条规律记得不太准确吧
应该是who/whom只能指人，而whose指人指物都可以

曼哈顿的书里面说的很清楚，whose都可以指，既可以是物也可以是人；但是who and whom 只能指人；that不能指人；which只能指物；其中，that和whom做宾语时，可以省略，这个GMAT会认的。

while “who” and “whom” always refer to people, the possessive pronoun “whose” can apply either to people to inanimate things.
