109. Last year all refuse collected by Shelbyville city services was incinerated. This incineration generated a large quantity of residual ash.
In order to reduce the amount of residual ash Shelbyville generates this year to half of last year’s total, the city has revamped its collection program.
This year city services will separate for recycling enough refuse to reduce the number of truckloads of refuse to be incinerated to half of last year’s number.

想请教各位NN,A选项哪里错了,看了答案没懂什么意思.
题目不是说去年焚烧了很多垃圾,产生了很多灰烬,今年要减少垃圾焚烧产生的灰烬到去年的一般,所以S就改进了collection program，这个program会recycle一些垃圾，从而较少要焚烧的垃圾的truck数.
所以要实现这个program,我觉得就是要实现两点，一点就是能recyle的垃圾不会被焚烧，另外一点就是要焚烧的垃圾每单位产生的灰烬量不会比去年多。
所以A和D都是正确的。。。我的理解哪里有问题吗？
跪求指导。。。

题目原文是：the number of truckloads of refuse to be incinerated
本身说的就是减少“待焚烧的垃圾装载量“，即用”truckloads“来衡量焚烧的垃圾，只要是装车的肯定会烧，回收的肯定不烧。
A项不过是在重复题干的合理推断而已，并不是题干成立的充分条件

OG上的解释是 A This is merely indicates that no further reduction of ash through recycling could be achieved this year; it indicates nothing about how much the ash will be reduced.
我没看懂。。。求NN解释。。。

我觉得二楼说的没错，Ａ只不过是对题中前提条件的重复，一般ａｓｓｕｍｐｔｉｏｎ中对前提的重复基本都不是答案

A 如果recycle的垃圾被incinerated，那么当没有被recycle的垃圾产生less ash的时候，aim仍然可以达到。所以A不是必要条件。完毕。

也纠结了很久这道题，仔细分析之后发现其实关系很清楚。
Which of the following must be studied in order to evaluate （相当于问前提，即没有这个条件结论就不成立）the argument presented above?
P1：去年服务中心回收的所有垃圾都被焚烧了，这个焚烧会产生很大数量的灰尘。
P2：为了将今年产生的灰尘减到去年的一半，决定分开足够的垃圾去回收以将今年要被焚烧的垃圾的卡车数减少到去年卡车数量的一半
逻辑关系：装焚烧的垃圾的卡车数量减少到一半------推出灰尘减少到一半
前提条件：每辆卡车产生的灰尘不比去年每辆卡车产生的灰尘多（如果多则不能保证灰尘会较少到一半）
The refuse incinerated this year will generate no more residual ash per truckload incinerated than did the refuse incinerated last year.
