contrary to一般放在句首，不要求逻辑主语 eg.contrary to our belief, .....作者: kiwiya 时间: 2013-2-20 16:21
补充楼上，contrary to +名词，如our belief；Although+句子，如we believe that。 wordy的话，我自己yy一个例子：Contrary to the fact that we believe in communism,....作者: mao猫子 时间: 2016-8-6 11:22
contrary to 用法，做状语用，不用对称结构。用作状语修饰整个后面的主句。
前后两句不用对称。但是In contract with 就是前后的主语来比较。contrary to后面只能接抽象名词，不能接人。

不用前后主语对称。
