They reason that, sincetop executives evidently have faith in the bank’s financial soundness, those worrisome rumors must be false. Such reasoning might well be overoptimistic, however, since corporate executives have been known to buy shares in their own company in a calculated attempt to dispel negative rumors about the company’s health.

嘛 但是整个argument确实是围绕这高管买股票这个事展开的 要说argument是想解释这个情况也说的过去
