答案是A，为什么第一句不是strategy，而是position;第二句为什么是grounds for rejecting an alternative postition?

就算是STRATEGY 又怎么样，CD后半句明显是错的，直接排除在AB选就行了，position代表的也是作者的观点，我相信肯定不会让你在POSITION和STRATEGY 这里选，找更明显的错误

我觉得是 charge less than比较说得通。因为这道题有一个变体，里面是，Consequently, the strategy to maximize overall profit from a new product is to charge less than the greatest possible price.

恩我也有这样的影响。。。做这题的时候还以为是记错了。。。
这题我觉得明显是题干错误了。。。
不然根本没逻辑可言。。。

这个是正解，prep2012里面太多字面问题了，不是少划高亮，就是少个关键的单词，做的头疼加郁闷！

C后半部分不对是因为它说的是后面那个strategy的缺点，而不是第一个present的strategy的缺点。原文的意思是一些代表先进技术的有竞争力的产品通常是值得一个高价格。然而，令人惊讶的是，一个从新产品上达到利润最大化的策略是标的价格比市场能够容忍的最大值要低的价格。虽然有些公司认为技术先进的产品应该尽可能的要高价，因为先进的技术很快就会被超越。但是这种策略的缺点是。。。
红笔标出的是两段黑体字的解释，因而第二段的解释说的缺点是一些公司的策略，并不是第一段标出的策略

Structure of the argument:

A second strategy is presented Many companies charge the maximum possible price for such a product,because they want to make as much profit as they can and technological advances tend to be quickly surpassed.
Bold face The drawback is that large profits on the new product give competitors an incentive to quickly develop a product to match the rival product's capabilities<== this is a drawback of the alternative strategy.
