E的主干是：
Unlike the tiny tubes that..., which in mammals are..., in birds the tubes...比较是要求结构完全平行，这里比较的后半部分是in X, Y, 所以unlike后面应该也是类似的结构in A, B所以如果这里是正确的平行的话应该是unlike the tiny tubes in mammals...., in birds the tubes...

我觉得在这里E选项中which就近修饰cells不对。因为这里的which引导的句子本来逻辑上应该是修饰tiny tubes的吧。从A中能看出来。
