我认为选D啊。大家来看看对不：
provide和milk这两个状语都是修饰cow的。因为：1.从形式上，如果是修饰farmer,则必须平行，而前面都已经用了who的定语从句了，所以没有可以修饰farmer的选项。2.从意思上，provided和milked都修饰cow没问题，被动嘛。
剩下的就应该是D和E了。但是E中的将来时没道理，而D中的the加单数名词可以指一类东西。
