40. 看过OA，看过一些帖子，没有一个地方提到这里是不是涉及到平行结构呢？
题干中OPEC是个组织，与其对应的就不能是output，而应该是各种nations，这样可以排除B和C。

只是想请教大牛们，这样排除B和C选项，是否安全呢？

我不是大牛，但是我也觉得不涉及平行结构啊。我觉得可以通过主动、被动语态去删除B和C。因为这里面都有nations, 而GMAT强调这种需要知道由谁干了什么事的一般都用主动语态。

嗯，我觉得也不能叫做平行结构，只是感觉前后两句有某种对应关系。

我想表达的所谓”平行结构“在OG13-SC52得到了印证。...compound sentence would be most clearly expressed if JB were the subject of the first clause sine 'she' is the subject of the second clause.

另外想请教的是C中解释，Would在be trimmed之前是redundant的。不过这题如果是说X will do sth only if Y does sth, 那其实凭时态已经可以区分了，为什么OG还要特别提一句redundant呢？如果表述为 is trimmed就会出现B选项的不清晰。这样写了其实有没有什么特别的地方呢？谢谢

就是因为是X will do sth only if Y does sth所以would是多余的。
关于redundant，manhattan是这么解释的：Eachword in the correct choice must benecessary to the meaning of the sentence. No right answer on the GMAT will containredundant words.

B选项里面的which引导的从句修饰的应该是the noun immediately preceding it，也就是non-OPEC nations,那如果从平行的角度讲，就是对的啊。另外还请教一个问题，为什么B选项用is trimmed会vague?多谢！
