我觉得现在分词不能修饰temperature把，只能修饰上一句的主语把~

本题中，现在分词的确不修饰temperature，而是修饰前面一整句话，句子没错，这里主要是possibly使用错误。但是语法上独立分词结构的确可以跟在名词后作非限定修饰。

possibly 改变了句意，把确定的事情变成了不确定的事情。

meaning: 在一些cr物種中，雄性每分鐘ch去吸引雌性的數量，會根據環境溫度發生改變，這個（？？？）可以作為溫度計存在。

看了ls各位的討論，我覺得根本就是要確定到底（？？？）表示的是什麽，serve前後的內容應該是structurally and logically parallel.
1、表示“數量改變”=“溫度計”---不對，溫度計是個something，數量改變是一個process，平行不對等。
2、表示“雄性每分鐘ch去吸引雌性的數量”=“溫度計”---ok，二者都是something。另外，數量和溫度計都會自己根據情況變化而改變，屬性相同，ook。

另，possiblely同意ls，這是變相改變句意---can表示capability（表示主體有能力決定某個事情到底會不會發生），但是possibly表示possibility（表示事情本身可能或可能不會發生）。
