A. rising interest rates makes it more expensive to buy them on credit
B. rising interest rates make buying on credit more expensive
C. a rise in interest rates make it more expensive to buy on credit
D. a rise in interest rates make buying on credit more expensive
E. a rise in interest rates makes it more expensive for them to be bought on credit

选项分析：
A. rates和makes主谓不一致；make it more expensive to buy them中them无所指，语法上指代orders，但逻辑上应该指代durable goods
B. correct；从意合角度可看出：rising interest rates与前面的again遥相呼应。因为有again的存在，说明不是一次利率上涨(a rise in interest rates)，借此可以排除C,D,E；by on credit固定搭配

Manhattan上面说明的
Subject Phrases and Clauses: Always Singular
Sometimes the subject of a sentence is an -ing phrase or even a whole clause. This sort of subject is
always singular and requires a singular verb form .

Having good friends IS a wonderful thing.（这个选项和上面那个不是矛盾的吗）

The subject is the singular phrase having good friends, !!Q! the plural noun friends.
Whatever they want to do IS fine with me.
The subject is the clause whatever they want to do, which is considered singular.

(2) Having good friends IS a wonderful thing.

兩句裏面，rising跟having的用法是不同的
1、rising是修飾interest rates的noun modifier，表示“上升的-利率”，這裡rising表示狀態
2、having good fds整體做句子的subject，表示“有-好朋友”，having表示動作

恩，我到网上查了查，也和你说的一样。
但是如何区分present participle是表示状态的，还是表示动作，是根据上下文吗？还是有其他的什么方法？

(1) rising interest rates make buying on credit more expensive.
(2) Having good friends IS a wonderful thing.

兩句裏面，rising跟having的用法是不同的
1、rising是修飾interest rates的noun modifier，表示“上升的-利率”，這裡rising表示狀態
2、having good fds整體做句子的subject，表示“有-好朋友”，having表示動作

這個...我記得好像中學老師有講過吧...

如果lz複習時間尚算寬裕的話，建議看一下“manhattan foundations of gmat verbal”中的sc部份，然後再研究一下“manhattan sentence correction 5th”。這個可以幫你打下堅實的語法基礎，對於sc解題非常有用！

如果C答案没有主谓一致的问题，是不是就是对的？
make it adj to do本身没有什么问题，只是make doing adj 相对简洁一些是这样吗？

C选项里，it要有所指代，到底是指代前面的a rise in interest rates，还是后面to buy on credit，这很不明确，会产生很严重的歧义。
