OG对于A选项并没有提出比较对象有错误。看了OG对D的解释，OG认为这里比较对象是正确的。OG把“nuclear plants ”和“ other types of power plants”同作为run的宾语。这么理解倒是真的可以，两个同性质的名词作比较。但是我纠结，这里the same X as Y, X和Y要平行的啊，怎么可以把X（to run nuclear plants）中的一部分（nuclear plants）拿出来和Y（ other types of power plants）做比较呢？国外论坛上对A的解释倒是指出了比较对象的问题——faulty comparison： cost of running compared with other types of power plants 。这里把“to run nuclear plants”写成“cost of runnng”，我的理解是他把“to run nuclear plants”的意思解释成“cost of runnng”了。但无论如何，有老外指出这里比较对象有问题了。OG又没有说，到底是因为没有错，还是漏掉没说？

correct。注意这里不是the same X as Y的结构，是X the same as Y。

OG又没有说这比较对象有问题。“ to run nuclear plants”和“ for other types of power plants”对等嘛？虽然这两个短语结合前面的意思都是在讲cost的意思，但前者要求的cost是动词，后者要求的cost是名词。这样还能算对等嘛？还能进行比较吗？

D. It costs about the same to run nuclear plants as for other types of power plants, whereas the electricity they generate is more expensive, stemming from the fixed costs of building nuclear plants.

照OG解释，for去掉就对了。这里就回到我对于A中比较对象的疑问了。

E. The cost of running nuclear plants is about the same as other types of power plants, but the electricity they generate is made more expensive because of the fixed costs stemming from building nuclear plants.

这个没啥问题，加上for就和正确答案B一样了。

对本题比较对象的平行非常纠结，虽然各错误选项可以从其他方面找出错误，但还是希望把比较对象弄明白。

这题倒是可以直接选择B，因为看到while想到maybe存在平行的对象，根据逻辑语义平行的是两种cost。
A中：as前后比较不对等。应该是 the same to run nuclear plants as to run other types; 其后面有啥：强调句嵌套着定语从句，it指代和形式主语互相混乱，them指代模糊。
B中：while从句与主句要尽量严格地平行的要求，其中 the cost of running is about the same as (the cost) for other types of 是省略的比较，这里的the same as和than用法一样，变换着看更易理解
CDE，没有满足上述平行要求的，out。

CDE，没有满足上述平行要求的，out。

就是说A中确实存在平行问题咯，感觉OG的意思是to run后面的内容平行，即nuclear plants 和other types of power plants平行，那么你认为OG这里错了。还是要严格按照the same X as Y中X和Y要结构内容完全平行。

那同时总结一下:
....the same as....——前后成分要求平行对称，用法可以同than
the same....as....的用法也是较上面一种麻烦一些，但要明白：（1）当the same + n. + as the same是形容词，表“相同的”；而as则为准关系代词（既当连词也做关系代词的词类），翻译为“和”，也就是说，as可视为关系代词，在所引导的从句中做主语、宾语或be动词后的表语。可以把as看作是“as the + 前面的名词+关系代词（who,whom,which,that）。
来看几个例子吧，
做主语：
I have exactly the same car as was described in the magazine . as= as the car that
做宾语：
I have the same book as you do. as = as the book which
做be动词后的表语，be动词通常省略：
eg.I have the same dictionary as this one (is).as = as the dictionary that

（2）the same to do as to do——这就是这道题，就是介短平行介短，别多想就行了。
是否正确的应用了上面的结构，要慢慢自己套入句子，看看是否完整，是否平行。

刚发现还有呀，这道题要是只看代词的问题，A全是it（我管他是代词还是形式主语） B全是costs，绝对性优势，嘿嘿，说不选B我都哭死啦——嘻嘻，O(∩_∩)O~

恩，明白的，错误选项有更明显的错误点。但是平时错题嘛，多虐自己一点，考试时候就相对轻松些~~~刷OG的过程不求做对，但求发现所有知识点哈~~~

我觉得 as 后的 to run 是不是省略了呢?

怎么可以想当然认为og解释是错的？我觉得A错的点可能不是平行吧？只能说有比它更好的可以排除，我做的是og12里的32题，上面the same to x（someone）as to y（a person），这里后面的to不能省略是因为它连名词，而楼主这到题是to run，所以能省略？求解答

BCD中都有as for，但如楼主说的，CD无论是“ to run nuclear plants”和“ for other types of power plants”还是“ nuclear plants”和“ for other types of power plants”都不平行，所以错，E是the cost和types of power plants不平行，A中最后一个代词it不是形式主语，没有先行词，不能指代任何名词所以错误。

我也觉得是省略了，OG没有错。0G12#85也有过类似的点，正确答案也是省略了verb。

in this case, we're allowed to omit the second 'was', because it's identical to the 'was' in the first part.

same goes here: since the verb is exactly the same ("flourished") in both parts, you can omit it from the second part.

A可以理解成 while it cost about the same to run nuclear plants as other types of plants..... 比较的是to run的对象

亲，不行吧。the same （to run nuclear plants）as。。。既然这里的to run在the same 之后，本身就是比较的一部分，不好视而不见吧。
我觉得还是属于省略掉了后一个to run。

我也觉得是省略to run，同时make it 的it做形式宾语指代to generate electricity. A 的错误点应该是主谓一致问题，fixed costs 和后面的 makes 不一致

其实A和C里面还有一个主谓不一致的错误，在后半句里面costs用的谓语是makes啊，显然错了。

我是这么理解每个选项关于the same as 用法的：
A. the same X as Y --- X=to run nuclear plants\ Y=other types of power plants 即动词to run 和名词plants 进行比较不平行
B. X is the same as Y --- X= the cost of running nuclear plants\ Y=(the cost) for other types of power plants 即两种工厂cost比较 correct
C. the same X as Y --- X=to run nuclear plants\ Y= (the cost) for other types of power plants 即动词to run 和名词 cost 进行比较不平行
D. (同C选项) the same X as Y --- X=to run nuclear plants\ Y= (the cost) for other types of power plants 即动词to run 和名词 cost 进行比较不平行
E. X is the same as Y --- X= the cost of running nuclear plants\ Y=other types of power plants 即 cost 和 plants比较不平行

A的形式主语还原后应该是 to run nuclear plants as other types of power plants costs the same 因此没有the same as 的问题。
