这里我们忽略E的其他问题，只看were为什么不对：“were的补出原文找不到相应的结构”
那么如果我把were改为are,这个问题有没有解决呢？——根据谓语动词threaten的时态，flourishing相当于is flourishing,那么这个are就可以找到相应的结构了？也就是说，相应的结构藏在V-ing 隐含的动词里了，这种分析对吗？

突发奇想的问题，表述不周，麻烦大家了啊：）

我的理解是 threaten 和flourishing都是修饰成分，怎们能补全当做主句成分，再补出你所谓are结构呢呢？可能我没看太懂吧？？但是这道题的问题就是N比较，你偏偏补出主谓结构关系形成句子，很是多余，把句子简化：the site flourishing at the same time as those were/are。。。。——前面是N后面是句子，亲也应该发现the site是单数，后面的those已经发生了指代的改变，这样是绝对错误的。。。。。。而且，名词的出现一定是优于代词的，选项一对比E是绝对性错误
