OG前面的解释说equivalent和equal不仅仅意味数量相等,还包括其它各方面相等, 这表明比较对象应该是同类事物(其实只要涉及比较都应是同类), 可是后面的例句"a volumn of water"和"lake Michigan"不符合比较原则啊, 觉得应该是"a volumn of waer equal to water in lake Michigan"或"that in lake Michigan", 请诸位帮忙释疑.
对了, 还有一个问题, 白勇书里说as many as+单数名词必错
想问一下有"the number...is as many as the number..."这样的说法吗?还是只能用the same as.
第一个问题，已经写清楚是VOLUME了，只指体积相等，不指其它因素，A VOLUME OF WATER与 LM是平行的，因为LM也是一个A VOLUME OF WATER。
第二个问题，说法错，只能用SAME AS或THE SAME AS，前一个形容词，后一个名词，或用EQUAL之类的词表示
