In developing and supporting yourposition, describe specific circumstances in which adopting the recommendationwould or would not be advantageous and explain how these examples shape yourposition. 正文： The issue that whether people should give acarefully evaluation for all the possible consequences before they take any risky actions is quite controversial and debatable. Many people certainly don't oppose the notion that one could never be careful enough when making decisions. If we think about all the consequences that could be induced by a risky action, we could avoid many troubles. Take exam cheat as an example, if one could assess all the risks that come along with cheating in the exams, maybe he/she will not choose to do it, in fact I believe such person will choose to study hard as he/she already knows the consequence of not doing so is either fail in the exam or be subject to take bigger risks, cheating. It seems that the advantage ofbeing thoughtful is obvious. However, the statement has its benefit and rationality does not pose it in an unquestionable place. Commonly, bigger risks come in pair with bigger benefits. By avoiding the risks, we also shut the benefits outside of the door. Chary people may say "bigger risk, bigger interest" is always the line of criminals in movies. Actually we arefacing with such decisions all though our lives. In Steve Jobs' lecture in Standford, he encouraged the young people to pursue their dreams and do what they like as a job and never compromise. To make such a decision whether to follow their heart or to compromise to cozy and easy life is indeed quite risky for the students, but it never bothers Steve Jobs because he never think it risky, he only sees the possibilities. Imaging if we can be resolute, if we believe in what we are doing is right, where is the risk from. In careworn persons' perspective, small risks may become big ones because the lack of confidence. For confident person, big risk may diminish to small one or even vanish.
In conclusion, under the condition that our deed is legit and morally right, given the advantage of being conservative and circumspect, people should strive to face the risk and difficulties in life and live the consequences, otherwise we may regret for ourselves when we get aged.作者: 普渡哥 时间: 2012-12-11 11:22
