A. Correct；it完全指代the global economy，并不特指1990到2000年之间的global economy
between 1990 and 2000是修饰整个 the global economy grew 这句话的（就是那种既修饰动词也修饰主语的时间状语） 而It 是只指代了 the global economy ~ 而且。。。曼哈顿不是说了有平行的情况平行为基准么。。。这个it 不就是和 the global economy这个专有名词平行的。。。就不会单单指1990到2000的global e了。作者: flonacui 时间: 2012-12-6 13:34
谢谢！ 我搜到的一个帖子的解释 觉得很好 这其实不是个代词it指代的问题，而是between介宾结构位置的问题。
between1990and2000很显然是一个介宾结构，当它被放置在名词后面时，充当名词后置语，修饰其前紧邻的名词，比如the growth of the global economy between1990and2000中，between介宾结构修饰the growth；它还可以作为状语的成分，修饰谓语，或者说是修饰句子，比如 Between1990and2000the global economy grew 中，between介宾结构就是谓语grew，说的是在1990到2000年间grew。
