Q1：D选项中的疑问：
prep语法笔记写道：用过去分词（指restricted）作伴随状语逻辑意思错误，这两个动作不同时发生，而是存在因果关系。
对于这个解释我不太明白，D中的thus不是就表达出了因果关系？
Q2：D选项中的另一个疑问：
“，done”结构中的done修饰句子中的主语还是宾语？还是需要根据意思具体问题具体分析（就如同 “A of B, which” 中which修饰谁一样）？

-ed形式通常就近修饰名词，而且不管有没有逗号只做定语。
Thus是副词，不是连词，就算是连词也不对，不能把句子和fragment连接

restricted这里就近修饰adulthood
Noun-Modifier should follow the TOUCH RULE!

关于Prep笔记中说【dong做状语】，我不敢苟同

Manhattan没有在Verb-modifiers中列举过去分词，只在Noun Modifier里面说-ed修饰名词作定语

BTW, manhattan上conjunction和connecting words 是同一概念吗@MiaZhang 啊啊

有一些例外
Manhattan明确列出来的例外，就有of-phrase这种情况，这个时候Noun-Modifier是可以跳过of-Phrase修饰核心词的

我目前看到的，跳跃修饰大部分发生在定语从句，而且有的题跳的很厉害。不过Prep语法笔记说跳跃修饰并不好。

嗯，还是具体题目具体分析吧。

这个题里面， until they reach adulthood是一个分句了，后面serving只能修饰adulthood

conjunction和connecting words 没有什么区别吧。。。就是连词。。。只要后面引导的是完整的主谓宾的，都是连词
