问题是“the yellow jacket can sting repeatedly without dying and carries a potent venom that can cause intense pain”中如果carries是和sting平行为什么要用第三人称单数？

can carry也是对的

既然出现了在未划线部分

当然OG这里对yellow的理解就是它有两个sequential的动作，它能反复叮咬，而且carries（这个carries不作为能力与can sting平行）

和这题prep的正确句子道理一样

直接理解成两个不同的功能然后被and连接起来了可以吗
这是一个对于yellow jacket来说平常的功能，所以用一般现在时
can 和 carries
