1． The protein in rice is higher quality than that in wheat.这句话对不对？最后要不要加is？

同样的：Rice protein is higher in quality than wheat protein. 最后要不要加is？

“The protein in rice is higher in quality than it is in quantity. ”是不是等于“The protein in rice is higher in quality than in quantity. ”？

Rice has a protein higher in quality than in quantity.请问than后面能不能加that指代protein？

同上句做对比：Rice has a protein higher in quality than that in wheat.（OG19题E选项ETS给的改法）ETS的意思应该是in wheat修饰that（指代protein），表示“小麦里的蛋白质”；可是in wheat为什么不能看成是和in quality做对比？从这个意思上说，这个改法是错的

No, you do not need 'is' at the end of the sentence.

不是

Summary: 主语相比较时，无需补出动词。在不引起歧义的情况下无需补出谓语。

不能，不是 protein 之间的比较。

这里是主语之间的比较，rice vs. wheat. 区别于上例。
