答案是D。我错选了C，不知道C为什么不对？

稍微比较一下选项可以看出来，C的逻辑语义有些问题：the paper is more than ever
纸本身不能比以前多,纸的数量才能比以前多，

我刚才把曼哈顿查了一下，5th, page 200，里面明确说到more可以用来形容可数和不可数名词，都表示更多。我觉得OG里面的这个例子跟more不一样，more只能表示更多 - 如果单独形容名词，而doubling只是表示二倍，后面可以是价格，size。。。未必要是数量，因此OG里的这题，E是not clear。我把C反复读了几遍，我觉得C错在时态！如果是paper expected to be recycled,那么后面应该是will be，而不是is。如果把C改成The paper to be recycled this year is expected  to be more than ever,我觉得就是可以接受的，甚至比D更好，D不够简洁。

你说的的确没错（我也见过more直接就表示更多的数量，但是那题的选项more这个部分是没有做出split的），但是当出现了greater，就经验之谈来说，句意是更加清晰的


这题也不例外，你说的more（指的是什么？amount吗？怎么没有像greater那个选项一样补出了amount？很容易让人浮想联翩想到去其他方面的more，例如质量？价格之类的）


SC的正确句子只能有一种解读，从某种绝对的意义层面来说，不允许句意不清晰，这是死罪

是的，句意清晰是最好的判断。同时，你觉得C的时态有问题吗？我觉得后面用将来时或者to be才是对的。

时态这个问题比较难，但就个人来说


我觉得两种意思都可以


如果是用simple present的话，你就是在讨论当下的事，即为用现在的眼光看现在的事物发展
若用future tense的话，就是用现在的眼光看还未发生的事物的发展


这两者的语法和逻辑意思应该都没有错误

时态这个问题比较难，但就个人来说


我觉得两种意思都可以


如果是用simple present的话，你就是在讨论当下的事，即为用现在的眼光看现在的事物发展
若用future tense的话，就是用现在的眼光看还未发生的事物的发展


这两者的语法和逻辑意思应该都没有错误
