答案是D
但是 seeking 和wants 不平行啊
我选的是B 两个all…… 都做firms的同位语把needs and wants 看成名词不对吗？？
谁能帮着分析下D 的结构……

D选项考查的是：each 型独立主格结构,强调前面半句句尾名词regulations,形式为:

句子 + 复数名词结尾, each + 介词短语/形容词短语/-ed形式/-ing形式；
LZ要是选择了B-all，对应wants单数动词形式——主谓绝对不一致了啊

我觉得这个all 和each开头都可以

关键你还是要从语义上去分析

后面是一个比较结构

你all后面的比较是什么？each other或者the others

这并不符合逻辑

句子想要传达是，在一个特定的群体中

每个人都争先恐后的干嘛

是一个特定群体中（某人和某人的比较）

而不是一个特定的总群体和某人的比较

说的比较不清晰

望LZ可以明白我在说什么= =

楼上的解释看懂了但是还是不明白 and是让seeking 和wants平行吗？？这种平行可以吗？

wants是和needs平行

这里考得是each独立主格结构，不能用all引导

我不是很同意楼上的说法，曼哈顿说了独立诸葛可以用all 引导。而且第一个用all 引导的就是独立诸葛

1. each other 和 one another 都是 reciprocal pronoun，表示对象之间互相怎么怎么样，但是实际上这道题的原文知识简单的比较而已，无需表示互相之间的关系，所以A，C排除
例如：The brothers love each other. = The elder brother loves the younger. And the younger loves his brother too.
原题：Each firm wants to meet the consumers' needs and wants than the others do.
2. 副词的位置的放置，曼哈顿里特别强调过副词位置的放置对句意的影响。B和E的more successfully都放在seek之后，修饰seek和原文的意思是不一致的。原文要表达的意思是more successfully meet consumers' needs and wants，所以错误。
3. 综上D正确。复数名词，each v-ing/v-ed 的独立主格结构使用表示强调；each后没有用reciprocal pronoun。

wants 和need是在一起的
