我觉得应该是"could not care more"才通吧. 答案是D, 但是B也有削弱的作用啊, 是不是因为B不是直接针对原因反驳,而涉及了一点题外推理呢?(因为题目没有说明news和real voice存在联系)

1。should be "could not care more"

2。C报纸比B报纸报道更多镇外新闻不表示它反映本镇人的声音小。它可以表达本镇人对外界的看法。还是本镇人的声音，故削弱不了结论。

对于这题，我也有同样的问题，“couldn't care less"是双重否定，意思应为"could care more"，不知这样的理解对吗？如果是这样，好像这道题就有问题了，我感觉应该是象2楼说的是"couldn't care more",可是看过以前的解释，都还是"couldn't care less",现在就搞不清到底是题错了还是我理解错了。

请赐教！

我觉得应该是couldn't care less，表示“少得不能再少了”，即很少

couldn't care more应该是“多得不能再多了”，即很多

不知道说得对不对

大家有没有注意到问题里说的DIRECTLY REFUTES这个词? D更直接的反驳了. 原文说OWNER是城外的, 那怎么直接反驳呢?D说我们的编辑都是城里的老员工了.所以直接反驳了. B根本没题城内新闻的事情. 按OG的说法是unrelated.

In my humble opinion, it should be couldn't care less.

B is irrelevant. In this passage, the advertiser based his argument on the foundation of the DB (out of town) rather than its content. Good newspaper should contain more out-of-town news as long as it's what people of GC want.

我觉得就是couldn't care less, 就是根本就不关心的意思
