Description The research work focuses on the theoretical modeling of ultrafast pulse progression in nanoscale laser devices with intracavity nonlinearities.
Requirement: 1) B.S. or M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics 2) Well understanding on semiconductor physics, quantum mechanics, nonlinear optics and electromagnetics 3) Solid mathematical background and computational skills
Starting date: January 2013 Duration: two years, full scholarship.
