不是，而是省略了的平行结构

its hide was used for clothing, its antlers and bones were userd for tools, and its sinews and gut were used for bindings and glue.

那为什么were used可以省略,而且要是平行结构it was a source of meat, and its hide was used for clothing, its antlers and bones for tools, and its sinews and gut ,那中间的两个and有怎么解释.

这是个大并列，and 前的主语是 it (ie. deer), and 后的主语是 its hide, 前后主语不一致，所以要用and.

its hide was used for clothing, its antlers and bones for tools, and its sinews and gut 这是小并列，主语都是 deer 身上的东西，不是 deer.
