Write a response in which you discuss your views on the policy and explain your reasoning for the position you take. In developing and supporting your position, you should consider the possible consequences of implementing the policy and explain how these consequences shape your position.
When we talk about the extinction of endangered species, we always feel sorry about them.Since every species living on the world is unique and has its own value, we should try our best to protect the endangered species, no matter whether the potentials extinction of those species is caused by human activities.
Admittedly, if it is the human being that causes the extinction of certain species, we should try our best to save them. Not only because we human beings need to correct our mistake, but also because if we do not save those endangered species, we are likely to arouse other troubles.Since human activities have already disturbed one species, other species related to this specie are also likely to get involved. If things keep on happen in that way, the whole balance of nature is going to be disturbed. Thus, a nature disaster is impending. What is more, human also could be caught into those disasters. According to those reasons, we have to save endangered species if they are about to extinct because of human activities.
However, we should ask a question, if the extinction of a species has little relation with human activities, should we do nothing about this and behave just like a by-stander?A by-stander behavior is never likely to be a smart choice.Every species living on our world has its own unique meaning. If we could help those endangered species to survive, we are able to make use of them in our studies, which is likely to be benefit to human being. For one thing, we are able to emulate those animal behaviors and create new inventions. For example, by study about the echo location of bat, we create radar. If the bat die our before we invent radar, it seems that we have to take more time to make this useful invention. For another, each species alone is a valuable gene database.Though such a database, we are going to learn the fantastic power of nature. If one species extinct, we could by no means get this database back, let alone study from it.The only way to protect these databases is to protect endangered species.
What is more, under most conditions, it is hard to tell if the extinction is caused or have relation with human activities.Since the nature is like a net and every species have direct or indirect connections with each other.Though a species may have less correlation with human beings, it must have some connection with other specie, and those other species are likely to have more relation with human activities.Actually, human activities have, more or less, disturbed other species on the world. We should take less efforts on making it clear that whether the impending extinction is caused by human activities than focus on what we should do to save more endangered species.Since we live on the same planet, we are encouraged help other species.
To sum up, we should try our best to protect endangered species. To have more friends on the world not only benefit those species themselves, but also have good efforts to human beings and the whole nature. No matter whether their impending extinction is caused by human activities, we should try our best to revere their extinction.
