这道题我也C.D纠结好久。答案选D
1.C用as well as 并没有比and in the更不平行吧？就当是省掉了，直接讲第二个原因。
2.expose and criticize with eloquence and passion; had passion and eloquence in exposing and criticizing两个为什么前者比后者好呢？

1. A as well as B ，重点在A，所以A和B不在同一级
   这里的in最好保留，保留后能让读者容易抓到and的平行对象

2. 两种用法都没出现在题目中？

two reasons are given for the excellence of  MW‘s work （the first reason is followed by in）


they must be exactly parallel


choice C：as well as must be followed by in （it is not optional， it is imperative）




“as well as” is not the same as “and”
