Among lower-paid workers, union members are less likely than nonunion members to be enrolled in lower-end insurance plans imposing stricter limits on medical services and requiring doctors to see more patients, and spend less time with each.

(A) imposing stricter limits on medical services and requiring doctors to see more patients, and spend
(B) imposing stricter limits on medical services, requiring doctors to see more patients, and spending
(C) that impose stricter limits on medical services, require doctors to see more patients, and spend
(D) that impose stricter limits on medical services and require doctors to see more patients, spending
(E) that impose stricter limits on medical services, requiring doctors to see more patients and spending

A没问题。 。。
C 个人觉得就算spend与see并列了,require前面应该加and,以表示require与impose并列
Plans require doctors to see more patients, spending less time with each。
  spend若是verb modifier,其逻辑主语必定是句子主语,plans不是spending逻辑主语;

nope, the answer should be D ( there is no doubt for the correct answer)

here u got the difference between grammatical parallelism and actual parallelism

impose and require should be parallel, while spending should be a modifier (because plan cannot spend less time on patients; it just identify a way in which doctor can see more patient, so it should be a modifier)

only D satisfies , you should closely examine the intended meaning that the sentence is trying to convey

nope,if u want to really get spend and see parallel

there should not be any comma preceded by and

also in A choice, it seems to convey the meaning that the union member are less likely and spend (a faked parallel

the problem is fixed in D

because spending is converted into a modifier and involved in a that-clause
