标题: OG 13th 50题关于过去完成时的一个问题
“the economy will avoid the recession that many had feard earlier in the year...”
请问一下这个句子里出现将来时和过去完成时一同使用的情况怎么是正确的？不应该是将来时+现在完成时吗？

Manhattan里说用完成时的两种情况：事情持续到某个时间点或者事情虽然结束但是对于现在有持续影响
使用现在完成还是过去完成，关键是找那个时间点是现在还是过去
the recession that many had feared earlier this year
这句话，that (many had feared earlier this year) 作为必要修饰语修饰recession，earlier this year作为时间状语修饰动词had feared，句意是说在这个时间以前或者一直持续到"earlier this year"，所以用had feared；

谢谢啦~~~之前觉得过去完成时和一般将来时一起混搭比较奇怪，现在看貌似也是可以的

就两种情况啊其实just remember：1. second-time marker（EX. earlier this year） 2. direct bearing on the simple past action（abundant examples in the OG and prep）
