这个题的除了E能想通外，其他几个选项我都有点疑惑。。主要是觉得gmat的解释让我不能接受，求大神们帮帮忙啊！！！

每个选项我都很疑惑，疑惑大多在这个选项本身，觉得选项本身逻辑就有问题啊，求梳理！！！

(A)many users who illegally copy programs never find any use for them

What users do (or do not do) with programs once they have them does not help to show that the loss to the industry is small.
gmat意思是说已经得到这个软件的人不管他copy还是不copy对整个产业损失小来说是没关系的。。

我理解的意思是这个软件都到你的手里了，和产业的损失无关。。。产业损失是和sales有关的。。
我的疑惑：软件都到你的手上了，你没付钱，产业不就损失啦？
而且人们发现这个copy没有用，自然不会买了。。

乱了乱了~~~凌乱~求解惑~

(B)most people who illegally copy programs would not purchase them even if purchasing them were the only way to obtain them

copy了软件的人不会买软件即使购买是唯一得到软件的方式。。
我的疑惑：都copy了，软件都拿到手了，他当然不会买啦。。。不买，产业不就损失吗？

(C)even if the computer industry received all the revenue it claims to be losing ,it would still be experiencing financial difficulties
gmat解释：The greater financial difficulties of the industry do not help to show that the loss incurred because of the illegally copied programs is small.
不明白这个选项什么意思？

(D)the total market value of all illegal copies is low in comparison to the total revenue of the computer industry
不对，用被非法拷贝的软件的市场价值与行业收入做比较是错的！
举个例子：被非法拷贝的软件的市场总价值是100万美圆（这100万都被黑了），所有正版软件的销售额只有60万美圆，整个行业的收入是400万美圆。100万低于400万，但你能说非法拷贝的影响很小吗？？要用软件市场和软件市场比，不要和行业收入比。整个行业除了卖软件还要干很多事情，比如卖整机！！！
D选项不知道我的理解对不对？

意思是说这个和数量无关，而应该和收益有关。。即产业损失是和卖programs的sales直接挂钩的。如果被copy的软件是很能卖钱的。。即使数量少，但是价值高。产业的损失会非常大的。。比如一个电影很卖座，能卖100万美元，由于被copy之后，导致产业损失这100万，这只是一部电影啊，数量的确小，但是经济损失非常大。。。
但是E选项，我自己的理解是这样，但是看gmat的解释，说的有出入啊！它说的是数量和数量的关系Even if the number of programs frequently copied is low, the number of copies made from each program might be huge (for the most popular programs).
而我理解的是数量和收益的关系。。。求解惑！

你要把握住本题的核心

因为盗版所损失收入其实被夸张了。后面是做解释，很多用盗版的人是对这个产品本来就没啥兴趣的。（我们可以稍微引申一下，也就是说：这群人本来就不会买，因为有了盗版，不用白不用，就试试看呗）

然后，结论是盗版带来的损失其实很小，问支持

先分析一下：所谓的损失，是指本应该从有需求的用户中获得的销售收入。也即是说，如果没有盗版，这些人的需求可以转化为销售额。

咱们先看正确答案B

用盗版的那些人不会买正版，即使这是唯一的获得方式。

也就是说即便没盗版可以用了，这些人也不会买正版，这些人本来就不是真正有需求的用户，属于不用白不用的那类。那自然，你把这部分人计算成损失是不对的。因为他们从来就没打算过要买，有白用的就用用看，没有白用的就算了。

因此，B选择支持了结论：损失其实很小。

总结一下，这个题目的关键就是有无盗版和是否购买这两个事儿。没提到这两个事儿或者提了其他的事儿的选项，统统是无关的

A 无关没讲购买
C 就更风马牛不相及金融困难跟损失大小无关
D 无关
E 不能支持结论

另外 E选项你的理解是错的和钱无关 gmat的解释是说即便被盗版的软件个数很少但是盗版的份数很多比如windows 它就算一个软件但是给盗版了几千万份可能比十个冷门的软件被盗版的总份数还要多

其实还能反过来多想想

那些说盗版带来损失大的人为啥得出这个结论呢？因为他们assume 没有了盗版那些用盗版的人都必须要买正版

那要weaken这个结论，我们就要攻击他的assumption

这样也能推导到B选项很多用盗版的人都是不必须要买正版的
