标题: 求助：我这样的背景在纽约好找工作吗？
一转眼快三十了，国内一般大学毕业，工作7年。四六级优秀，考出过BEC高级和高级口译证书，Toastmasters俱乐部主席，若干志愿者活动。找工作时候运气也不错，先后在Intel, Disney, Morgan Stanley工作过，在前两家做的是Corporate Finance方面的工作，现在在大摩做Business Manager。今年会移民纽约，现在纠结于读书和找工作之间，想请教大家，我这样的背景（主要担心没有国外学历）在纽约好找工作吗？大概能找到什么样的工作？多谢！

You can definitely find a job in NYC based on your background. It will even easier if you don't need the company to sponsor you obtain H1B visa. But if you really want to study first to have some school experiences, I recommend Columbia University.

Thanks! Just found out that there's a January term MBA class offered at Columbia university, which saves me more time waiting for the Autumn class. Will shoot for that. Also, are there any other schools for MBA that you would recommend in New York City (I'm moving to NYC and don't want to leave my family for schooling)? My friend recommended Baruch in CUNY. Is it good? Thank you very much!

Baruch is cheap but ok. If you want to go to top company, you should choose Columbia and NYU. MFE in Baruch is very good and competitive.

I think all the universities you mentioned in NYC are pretty good. Just me personally, I prefer Columbia University campus. Also my friends told me networking events there are pretty good. That is how they find internships. As for schooling, if you plan to stay in NYC for a long time, good Uni can earn you a better-paid job(if you make the best out of it). So it is like long-term investment, depends on your speculation and plan about your future.

你的工作背景真是很不错，英语貌似基础也很牛。不过美国的就业形势是真不怎么乐观。但愿你好运。CUNY也还不错。
