今天看了逻辑Bible的116页-155页：Weaken的最后部分看完，Causal部分，Strengthen部分（Assumption题还没有看到）。现在慢慢地可以看得进去全英语的书了，Bible和曼哈顿都逐渐变得没有那么令人头痛了，书上的内容很精彩，但是我做题还是有点慢。
整理了曼哈顿语法第六章。
最近学校的事情很多，浪费了不少时间。加之自己想平衡英语复习和准备另外一个考试的时间，却总不能达到两全其美的状态，每天分配给英语的时间远远不如计划多。晚上给妈妈打电话，妈妈的建议是以GMAT为重，如果另外一个考试考不出来就放弃。

做了30题SC，错了13道。很多题目还是会有忽略的POE，剩下两三项时习惯性猜一个答案，这个毛病要改。

几天没来更新，因为没有学英语。回来一算倒计时只剩下38天了。上个周自己的计划完成的也不好，多半时间分给了备考其他的。考试是考完了，不知道结果怎样，忐忑地回到学校，晚上效率也不是太高。
今天晚上回来把第7章的笔记弄完了，发上来。还剩下第8章和第10章（第9章的idiom太多啦，自己积累，不打笔记了）需要整理。上周在图书馆借了一本白勇语法，做过几题，感觉语法还是很薄弱。明天继续进入学霸状态。加油。

下午在图书馆继续看逻辑Bible，为了赶快看完我就没有再做每章后面的Problem Set了，只做了例题。
这个周一定可以看完。我也要整理自己的逻辑Bible笔记，虽然书上每一章都有Review和要点，但是我觉得可以再加上一点点自己总结的东西，做一个简单的小笔记，这样就不用总是回书中翻英语了。
还做了白勇语法，边做边看解析，效率不太高，只做了一章。
今天晚上回宿舍整理曼哈顿语法笔记，要把剩下两章内容整理完。
Chapter 2
[N]8- 分号前后必须是完整的主谓结构。
[N]9- 选不出来的时候也可以关注句子划线部分之外；逗号不能连接两套完整的主谓。
[N]10- permit的用法：permit sb. to do sth.；错误用法：permit+that从句；permit sb. doing；sb. be permitted sth.
[N]12- the rising有专有名词rise，偏向于用名词。
[N]13- 并列句的省略（第二个分句中省略实意动词，不符合并列句的省略原则）。
[N]17- BC项hopefully（充满希望的，人们希望的）为保证单一意思不用hopefully。
[N]18- such+n.+that 搭配才正确。
[N]21- CD项，注意compare的元素，品味句间关系，找准连接词。
[N]24- 用法错误：as an instance; like to do; such as to do.

今天看了逻辑Bible的一章内容，虽然很少，但是掌握的不是很好。
在图书馆学习就不能用电脑，但是回宿舍有效利用的时间比较少。

[N]26- also不能连接两个介词短语，也不能起到连词的作用。
[N]28- 错误用法：one...another one; one...other ones; one... the other;
正确用法：one... another; each other; some... others.
[N]29- 代词指代：it 不能指代介词短语&前面的整个句子；it可以向后指代主语从句&不定式短语。
[N]32- Make logical sense! the body was the man在逻辑上是不合理的。
doubt的用法-肯定形式：whether or that引导的宾语从句；否定形式：只能由that引导定语从句。
[N]33- some... another搭配错。
[N]35- stonemason 石匠。主语和位于中间没有插入语而被逗号隔开是错误的。
[N]39- prep. + one's being done永远错。

开始OG的SC第二遍，因为第一遍没有经验画的书上很乱，所以选择第二遍用电脑版的来做。
区别于第一遍，要求自己每一题排除任何选项都要有凭有据，可能时间有点长，但是避免了自己胡猜乱蒙。

第一遍和第二遍做题都选择了E项。我认为D中that从句不如E简洁。
对照OG的解释：
D Correct. In this sentence,the subject and verb agree, and the verb is in the appropriate tense; a recovery is finally is clear and concise.
E For a recovery finally is awkward and—to the extent that it can be seen as grammatical—does not make sense.
参考论坛上的解释：
1）E选项的 hope for + n.这里加了一个句子，make nosense.(by ainiAnnie)
2）至于E，我想说的是，hope 后面加这种长成分，最好用that 从句。介宾这个结构本身就是存在歧义，因为你不知道那个finally under way是说的hope还是recovery。(by mahaofei001)

E The relative clause beginning with which apparently(but nonsensically)describes the closest nouns, mud or clay, rather than bricks.(*which的位置导致指代的名词变了。记得曼哈顿语法中modifier一章说过要尽可能地离要修饰的名词近一些。*)

E：that引导名词性从句，作为has been的宾语，与主句主语的method在逻辑上不平行；were的时态不正确；which就近指代mud or clay，不符合逻辑，把原本两个应为平行的语法成分变成了一个从属于另一个。(by DUKB24)

a-挂在句首若是'n. ,'该名词就是逗号后紧接主词的同位语，该名词等于主词的「换句话说」或「补充解释」。journalist是指人，exploit是指事，前者在逻辑上无法成为后者的同位语。（*这个也是我做题的时候排除的原因，同样的原因我把B项排除了，这里把A的解释也保留，对比一下思路的差别。*）

E Correct. In this sentence, the noun attempt replaces the gerund trying in this construction with organism's.

这一题我是从句子结构入手分析的，认为后面的分句应该是-ing做伴随状语的。而实际上根据句意，outnumber是句子中主要的动词。
OG的解释：
The main point of the sentence is that Dickinson's letters to her sister-in-law outnumber
her letters to anyone else.To emphasize this point,outnumber should be the main verb,and the description introduced by the passive verb were written needs to be changed from a mainclause to an adjectival phrase.
A The long,wordy opening clause gives too much emphasis to the period when Dickinson's letters were written;it is unclear what outnumbering refers to.
E Correct.The information about the period when Dickinson's letters were written is contained in an adjectival phrase set off by commas, and the main verb outnumber refers clearly to letters.

the usage of v-ing:
the "ing" action is SIMULTANEOUS with, and SUBORDINATE to, the main action;

3)A选项的主干是：ED's letters to SHD were written over a period ( ), outnumbering her letter to anyone else. 主句讲述的是time (period)，v-ing 讲述的是number (outnumbering)这两者毫不相干，所以这句话就是non-sense! 正确的句子主干是：
ED's letters to SHD (, which ____,) outnumbered her letter to anyone else.(by babybearmm)

1 过去分词用逗号隔开，还是可以作为非限定性修饰语来修饰其之前的名词的！
EG. Excavators found an artifact buried under the tomb.
=Excavators found an artifact, buried under the tomb.
一般V-ing分词作状语修饰主语或者主语的动作，乃至整个前句的情况比较多，所以要想修饰就近的名词，最好还是用which或者限定性的修饰比较靠谱。
其次earn records获得奖章，所以earned需要被动，就像例句中的buried一样。（By shirryzhan）
2 关于ved……这里没有什么限定不限定的……在通常来说就是ved指代最近的名词；
存在某些例外，X ofY ved，这时的ved修饰X of Y整体，不修饰Y；大多数情况都是就近修饰Y。
用你的common sense来决定修饰整体还是部分，如果两个都make sense（1.优先指代Y 2. bad modifier，有多种interpretations）（By DUKB24）

离考试的日期越来越近了，回顾前一阶段的学习进度，一方面感觉到之前的自信心一点一点地消失掉了，另一方面发现自己的执行力还是太低了，完成度惨不忍睹。
最后18日的觉醒
本来计划的特别好，不过现在OG还做得不是很好，而且貌似最近平台期到了，能连着错10题语法和逻辑，阅读好多词也看不懂了突然。因此我决定什么GWD啊模考啊我都不做了……抓紧时间回顾OG和看机经吧，基础+运气，押到最后。

今天做了IR的50题，可惜效率比较低没有做完，只完成了3/5，感觉一开始那几道题目好难，仅是找关系式就花了很长的时间。我比较喜欢后面那些给一堆表格找信息的题目，明天把剩下的内容做完，自己总结一下。看来仅仅看完曼哈顿的IR部分还是不够的。今天又做了4篇prep的阅读，感觉因为单词不认识错了好多题目。翻开单词书发现我是从1月份就开始背单词了，但是到现在将近一年时间居然还没有过完一遍。回到宿舍了，我准备晚上看看数学机经和单词就睡觉了。
突然觉得时间过得太快了。

自己对阅读题的一点感想&总结
1 速读：了解内容，明晰结构。
l 首句最重要！
l 态度词！（plausible feasible .etc）
l 转折词！（传说中However后面必有题目！）
l 人名（他的主张，他的态度+/-表示）
l 时间顺序（可能有对比或帮助定位题目）
2 定位：根据题干中的key words定位原文
关键词出现的地方或其前后一句内或highlight部分
3 细读：细节之处体会文章和作者用意
l 句间关系（转折、递进、对比、并列）
l 强调的内容
l 对比部分
l 疑问是否得到了解答
4 比对：依据定位对比原文和选项
同意转述 逆向同义转述（如对立面的否定）
l 是否无中生有
l 是否过度细节/不够概括
l 是否七拼八凑
l 是否虚构事实
5 通过文章类型匹配“主旨题”选项的关键词
考虑文章是否有作者的态度？
Describe explain demonstrate discuss……
6 预测出题点（带着问题读文章，扫雷！）
1）What is the passage mainly talking about?
l Topic
l Specific
l Structure
| 讲某个现象--现象解释型（原因 变化）

讲某个定义--观点对比 现象解释 问题解决 理论

有明显的时间标志--traditional/modern/in 19xx/17c （对比 发展 变化）

[倒计时11天]
10-20計劃如下（红色为后来编辑）：
早起7:00模考一套加總結上午結束到12:00（早上起晚了 吃完饭都已经8点多了）
早上GWD-TN-3 很不理想，好像电脑知道我的CR是弱项一样，一直在出CR，而且我还做得超级慢的说。包括有几题CR貌似在OG上做过，好像又变了问法，居然也做错了。阅读的话感觉比之前做起来要轻松些了，但是还是比想象中错的多，我现在做Prep的RC都可以只错1题了，可是实战还是有差距的吧。比较好的是RC的时间控制的还行，整体来说主要是CR太费时间了，SC不知道为什么出了很少，我发现错的还是独立主格的问题，之前prep也错了好多，所以就又搜帖子做了总结。
我觉得这个星期主要任务还是要：1）提高逻辑（好好看机经）；2）保持SC的正确率，争取再刷一遍manhattan，之前虽然也做了笔记但是漏洞太多太大了；3）阅读继续分析总结，提高对题率（配合机经查资料画逻辑图）。
下午刷OG-SC,CR計時做各2組 每組25題 並查錯 13:00-18:00
晚上數學雞精50題1.5h
作文模寫一篇加改1h
閱讀4篇加改45min
IR整理答案到12點 睡觉洗澡
晚上來匯報今日進度完成情況

最后的重点还是语文部分，只有这一部分的提升才安心：
SC manhattan要点+prep SC+prep语法笔记
CR prep2+manhattan+重点机经（押宝于jj了）
RC 每天坚持4篇保持题感，其他的看jj
IR 看机经，别的不看了 AA 每日2篇 看机经思路
数学就再过一遍机经吧 不看别的了

2013年1月2日。回归继续准备GMAT。
因为还在上学，赶上期末考试，所以给自己安排的任务是每天背单词。
不知道为什么一直对背单词没有好感，之前也试验过多种背单词的方法都没有坚持下来。
现在用得还比较舒服的是拓词，每天背半小时左右吧，之前有很多次也是因为太忙碌没有坚持，还蛮有负罪感的。
每天把自己背单词的进度发上来吧，一直到期末考试这段时间。加油，搞定单词假期就可以专心做题了。

已经背了60%啦，虽然没有每天坚持，但是也许这是我有史以来背单词周期最长的一次了。
一定要坚持哟。

没想到这个冲刺阶段好短，我又背了一小会儿就开始总复习啦。
发个最新截图证明今天背词的鸡血状态吧，今天就到这里，要复习期末考了。
我觉得以现在的背词速度和记忆程度，每天可以复习200个词，这样10天就可以复习完了，那就是19号，可以提前4天完成任务。这样的话还可以开启新的一轮背单词，可以巩固一下四六级的单词然后快步进入托福单词继续虐心。哈哈。

昨天把GMAT单词的总复习搞定了，我也不会用，还重启了总复习，又来了一遍，可是我不想背了。
今天去背了托福词汇，可是感觉好难啊，哭了。
