CPIM资格认证考试是什么？

简单地说，CPIM考试是一种生产和库存管理从业人员资格认证考试。CPIM是Certified in Production and Inventory Management的缩写，CPIM考试为个人和组织评估自己对不断演变的生产和库存管理领域的知识提供了一般基础。CPIM考试是此类资格认证考试中知名度最高的、被广泛认可的。

CPIM考试是APICS最初在1973年开始为了推广APICS知识体系设计、推出的，在2000年进行了重新配置,由原来的7个模块改为5个模块。CPIM一直秉承设立初衷不辱使命继续以基本概念、工具、术语以及整合运营功能的各种问题来教育从业人员。CPIM考试的5个模块是：
BSCM, Basics of Supply Chain Management(供应链管理基础)
MPR, Master Planning of Resources(资源主计划)
DSP, Detailed Scheduling and Planning(详细计划与排程)
ECO, Execution and Control of Operations(运营执行与控制)
SMR, Strategic Management of Resources(资源战略管理)

通过CPIM全部5个模块考试的人可以获得CPIM称号。由于认证旨在测试考生在生产和库存管理各种专题方面的深层知识，因此，通过学习和认证，可以帮助个人和组织改进效率，提高竞争力。

CPIM考试在2005年6月开始引入中国，2005年在上海已经举行过3次。

APICS是一个非营利组织，成立于1957年，最初代表美国生产和库存管理协会，曾经改名为资源教育管理协会，2005年起这个组织改名为运营管理协会。
