选项B正确，不过藕做题时选了C，看了前人的讨论，觉得C并没有错在平行结构上，"be"动词的省略应该是正确的，是不是C里面的那个逗号“，”不对亚，改成分号“；”就对了尼？

偶觉得 little polar ice 也有问题，是little 修饰polar然后一起修饰ice呢还是little修饰polar ice？容易引起歧异；

偶同意这个说法。

另外查了一下longman，“or else”是口语表达。－－这条不知可否也作为排除C的理由？请NN指点。

polar ice 是一个东东，指“极冰“，不存在 little polar 这个东东。。。藕觉得这里这个没有歧义。

如果longman那样讲，应该算是一个理由把，毕竟gmat sc 考的书面语法表达。

BTW, who is the bull or cow of SC? seldome visits this part, and a little no culture.

There is no bull or cow here but only people.

I would say do not try to appeal to a so-called authority of the SC part, just focus on OG or grammar.

我觉得，be动词如果时态不同，单复不同，应该不能省略
